in der November-Ausgabe des "American Philatelist" ist ein Artikel über "Airmail Etiquettes", Verfasser Arthur H. Groten, M.D. In dem Artikel wurde der Beleg im Anhang gezeigt und beschrieben:

"The reason for two different route labels on this cover is that it was originally to go by air [...] but missed the flight and was sent instead by Nairn Overland service. The rate was the same, 3 annas (postage) plus 3a for the air or overland fee. [...]"
