Nachdem ich die nächste Erhöhung zum Januar 2024 hier vergessen habe - der Inlandsbrief kostet statt 66 aktuell ja nun 68 Cent - kam gerade im StampEd [1] digital newsletter der American Philatelic Society vom 19.04.2024 eine kurze Info, über die nächste geplante "Anpassung":

USPS price hike

The USPS has announced that they are seeking clearance to raise the price of mailing a first-class letter to $0.73 in July — and it's pretty much guaranteed they'll get just what they want. (...)

[Redaktionell ergänzt: Der USPS hat angekündigt, dass er eine Genehmigung für die Erhöhung des Preises für einen Brief erster Klasse auf 0,73 Dollar im Juli anstrebt - und es ist so gut wie sicher, dass er genau das bekommt, was er will. (DeepL)]
