Henry, ein Superbeleg !

Würde auch gut, vielleicht sogar besser) in das Thema "Remailing" passen. Der Absender hat in Argentinien die Postkarte über DHL (und nicht über die argentische Post) zum Versand gebracht. DHL hat die Sendung dann nach Mexico befördert und dort "frankiert" und in den UPU-Postverkehr eingeschleust. Schönes Stück. Leider wurde die argentische DHL-Briefmarke überklebt. Auf die Schnelle habe ich auch noch keine Abbildungen dieser DHL-Marken gefunden.

Scheinbar ist aber DHL dort auch nicht wirklich schneller und zuverlässiger. Im lonely planet-Forum [1] werden recht negative Erfahrungen mit DHL von Ushuaia beschrieben. Postkarte von Feuerland nach Kanada in mehr als 2 Monaten. Aber auch hier wurden die Sendungen über Mexiko geleitet.

Since there are many DHL mailboxes lined up in the street in front of the store, we decided to buy these stamps, and posted the postcards right away. That was more than 5 weeks ago, and none of our postcards has arrived yet (...) ok, regarding my last post about DHL mail: my in-laws just got their postcard - that's a bit more than 2 months to get from Argentina to Canada - and apparently the postcard's got stamps from Mexico. I wonder if they've got a guy and a donkey walking from down here to up there with the bag of mail ..."
