Kemp Land 2005 Third Reich FDC. Hitler, Auschwitz

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the fall of the German Third Reich, the Antarctic country Kemp Land issued these stamps. Here they are on an unaddressed First Day Cover.

The designs feature:

15c ... Adolf Hitler, Fuhrer of Germany from 1933 to 1945.

75c ... A group of internees at the Auschwitz Concentration Camp, a forced labour enterprise run by the Third Reich. It was liberated by Russian troops in 1945.
