[#1]Hello,
every user has his own device, which can be old or very new. So meter frankings forcibly are very different. The 2 meters are dated 2004 and 2011, the newest type (matrix) is shown here.

[#1]Hi,
all the meters with the K11 prefix machines [K = made by the German TeleFrank company, K1 indicate a machine type] I saw so far, show that "two colour" style. It seems that the date and value line is printed from a second (and different) ink cartridge, but from the same machine, at the same time. That is not an empty standard (blanc) frame with a later printed date and value; see
http://www.philastempel.de/stempel/suchen/ablage/752Some examples from the early "change from red to blue" transitional period still even show an (old) red date/value-line, while the frame is already printed in (new) blue; see
http://www.philastempel.de/stempel/zeigen/63360BTW, they are operated directly by privates/companies at their own locations. They are no post office meters.
Sorry, no information about the Italian one.
Regards
Thomas
